Scope of Works:
Design of the permanent Western Areas Odysseus Shaft (also known as Cosmos) infrastructure, design, fabrication and supply of all temporary infrastructure and the provision of plant, resources, and services for the equipping of the Cosmos Shaft.
This Scope of Work includes the following:
- Shaft Barrel support, excavation and fit-out, including structures and services
- Chip Handling Level plug support
- Mid-shaft plug support
- Shaft plats construction
- Cosmos Shaft Bottom and Loading Level slot excavation, construction and equipping
- Permanent Headframe erection and major equipment installation which includes:
- Rope Sheaves
- Guide Rope anchoring and adjustment system
- Jack Catches and related devices
- Skip tipping frames and power pack
- Rope installation, including winder ropes and guide ropes
- System commissioning and assistance which includes:
- Dry commissioning of facilities
- Assistance during the materials handling system integration and wet commissioning
