LONG SERVICE AWARDS
Long standing and dedicated employees are the backbone of RUC, and they are not forgotten! RUC offers giveaways for five and ten years service. These gifts are an exclusive RUC Gold Watch for five years of duty and for ten years of employment, an employee receives a $10,000 travel voucher!
LONG SERVICE LEAVE
Employees are able to take pro rata long service leave (LSW) after five years of employment instead of seven years. RUC also has thirteen weeks LSL after ten years service instead of ten weeks LSL after thirteen years service. Annual leave is paid on average earnings after the probationary period.
Salary sacrificing is when a RUC employee agrees to forgo part of their future entitlement (such as salary or wages) in return for benefits of a similar value. RUC offers salary sacrificing specifically on super up to the government $25k cap per financial year including the RUC 9.5%.
RUC has a business partnership with redballoon.com.au whereby it enables eligible FIFO employees to receive a $150 voucher per quarter. These vouchers can be used for dining, travel, and other experiences like bungee jumping or race car driving.

The RUC ‘Refer a Friend’ bonus offers a $2,500 bonus to the referrer after the referee passes probation period and a further $7,500 to be shared between the referee and the referrer if both are still with RUC after 12 months of employment.
