The Costerfield Gold Mine is located in Victoria, Australia, within the Costerfield mining district, approximately 10 km northeast of the town of Heathcote, Victoria. Purchased in 2009, Mandalay Resources immediately restarted capital development and mining. By 2013, through extensive improvements and investments in mining and processing methods, the processing plant’s capacity was expanded to approximately 13,000 tonnes per month from 5,000. Scope of Works
Providing underground development mining services including:
- The Costerfield Gold Mine’s horizontal development works of some 1200m at 4.5mW X 5.5mH, 1:23Up
- Incline and decline development of approximately 2500m of up to 5.5mW X 5.5mH, 1:7
- Level access, stockpile development and vent access approximately 1300m at 5mW X 4.8mH, 1:50Up
- Haulage of all capital development materials to surface waste stockpiles utilizing a CAT AD45
